World of Outlaws Late Model Series competitor ‘Kid Rocket’ Josh Richards of Shinnston, WV joined the show to talk about the swing of races that includes the Summer Sizzler presented by Thurston Spring Service, Inc. to be held at Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway on Friday July 20th, the 60th Anniversary $12,000 to win specials at Hagerstown Speedway on Saturday July 21st and then Eriez Speedway on Sunday July 22nd. He also discussed life on the road, the pressures of running the Rocket house car and what it will take to move up in points. Richards is currently fifth in series points and started the year off with a win but has seen a string of bad luck derail his chances for wins several times this year. Richards drives the Mark Richards Racing owned, Cornett powered Rocket Chassis #1 sponsored by Seubert Calf Ranches, Ace Metal Works, TSR-Tony Stewart Racing, Petroff Towing and MCB Motorsports.
