Welcome, NC Richard Childress developmental driver Ryan Gifford dropped by DirtCast Thursday to talk about his first full week behind the wheel of a UMP Modified. Gifford ran very strong at Volusia Race Park as well as his teammates, Austin and Ty Dillon. Gifford collected 3 wins this past season in his Shell sponsored GRT Crate as well as 17 top 5′s and 20 top 10′s. In the interview Gifford discusses his go-karting days, his experience at the Dale McDowell driving school as well the conditioning aspect of racing. Gifford is the driver of the Mullens Racing Engines powered Shaw by Landers. Look for big things in the future from this 19-year old phenom.
