February 25th, 2009
The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series has announced that they are joining forces with DirtCast.com to bring race fans live internet programming with the Lucas Oil Motorsports Hour on Tuesday Nights and live play-by-play broadcast of selected LOLMDS events during the 2009 racing season.
“We could not imagine a better partner to launch our live broadcast platform,” stated Barry Braun, owner of DirtCast.com and its parent company X.CELERATED. “The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series provided a platform for us to test and implement live audio at the 33rd Annual DART East Bay Winternationals with quite possibly the biggest audience we could ask for in all dirt track racing. We are ecstatic about the opportunity to continue to add more functionality and technology to the leading sanctioning body broadcast in all of the Dirt Late Model racing industry. I look for this relationship to bloom and help push us both to the proverbial next level.”
The Lucas Oil Motorsports Hour will makes it debut on DirtCast.com on Tuesday Night, March 3rd with LOLMDS announcer James Essex as host. On the program will be four contenders who have announced their intentions to compete for the 2009 Quarter Master “Rookie of the Year” honors.
